About China Palace Restaurant
China Palace Restaurant is a chinese restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is listed at 9211 N Tryon St #11, Charlotte, NC 28262, which places it among the local businesses of Charlotte that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–9 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Charlotte is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

China Palace Restaurant offers early 2000s cheap affordable and good Chinese food! The offer a range of Asian cuisine as well as lunch specials. It's always packed, prices are shocking. The staff is polite and professional. There is an abundance of free parking. The inside of the establishment isn't much of a looker but it looks a lot better than some of the hole in the wall Chinese places around Charlotte. This place is definitely budget friendly and delicious for the price!

Ordered chicken chow mein, wonton soup, and an eggroll. The eggroll was delicious but tiny. The wontons in the soup were really good but there was only two won tons in the soup lol. And the main dish, my chicken chow mein…. Man you guys botched this one.. yuck! Definitely will not be going back to this Chinese restaurant!!

I was delightfully surprised by how delicious the food was. I ordered a chicken fried rice and an egg roll with sweet-and-sour sauce. The sweet-and-sour sauce is the sauce that they use for the sweet-and-sour chicken which was delicious. My egg roll was also very good. That is very surprising as I find it hard to find a good eggroll here in Charlotte. I usually don’t order a egg roll, but I’m glad I did. The egg roll was the first thing to go so I have no pictures lol. The restaurant was very clean and well organized as well. I will definitely return.

I place an order while inside of the restaurant . The person didn’t ask if I wanted to be seated just made it a to go order. I get the food my son wanted to eat like most kids would. We sat down in the booth seating. The woman that took our order came over and said “ I’m sorry we don’t do that with to go orders”. This place didn’t appear to be fine dining. Very much your typical Chinese restaurant. Usually if you decide to sit you just clean up after yourself and go. There wasn’t a host at the door asking if you’d like to be seated . And even if someone spent their money on food in a restaurant and decided hey I’d rather eat inside. Usually accommodations would be made. Tips aren’t guaranteed when people dine in.I didn’t press the issue since I’m not the type to stay where I’m not welcomed. Now for the food review. We ordered Sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, lo mein ,fried rice, chicken egg roll, veggies spring roll. The Sesame chicken was ok definitely not the typical balance of sweet and savory. More so a vinegar taste. The Sweet and sour chicken was good. The lo mein was overcooked and bland. The fried rice was bland and barely fried. Though it was the smallest egg roll
